Bakfiets short is for those who are looking for smart, smooth, affordable, and environmentally friendly solutions for everyday transport The Cargobike is for those who want a lightweight cargo bike and want to sit upright, have a good overview of the traffic and surroundings, and have fun conversations with the children.
After several years of design and development of cargo bikes, we can now present a new level of safety, comfort, and driving pleasure thanks to many improvements, among others. Aluminum frame T606 heat-treated, strong motors, multiple dropouts, tapered front fork, frame geometry, luggage rack, wider kickstand, wider box, etc.
– The box is made of marine plywood, a very durable material, environmentally friendly, and easy to replace/adjust if needed. Marinplywood är en beprövad hållbar lösning.
– The dimensions are: L 2560 x W 61 x H 110 cm.
The box is designed to accommodate a maximum of 2 children with safety belts, plus 2 grocery bags. But it can easily be adapted to many other things. Such as transporting dogs and goods.
Bakfiets can be equipped with an actual rain cover to protect against cold, rain, wind, or snow. The rain cover will also protect the rider’s arms, hands, and some of the knees from wind and rain.
As an additional accessory, there are covers/protectors available for the box. They are great to use against rain and snow. A very smart way to keep the box dry during driving or when the cargo bike is parked nearby. The cover has the ability to roll up in the front and allow for children to be transported with half of their body protected
